Today we headed out at about 9 to make it to Six flags by 10.30. We got there about 11 cos it was a bit of a mission getting there but we managed without getting too lost! You’d think you would have seen it from miles away with its 18 rollar coasters but no! We were pretty blown away when we got inside and it was El’s first time at a theme park so was exciting times!
It was a stinking hot day so on we slapped the sunscreen then headed off to start some rides. On the brochure it was split into sections starting from the less scary rides to the most scary. We wanted to get through everything so started at the start but after about an hour realised there was wayyyy too many rides and wayyyy too many kids around (its summer holidays!) to even get through half of them so we started doing the more scary rides. We waited on average maybe 45mins to an hour for every ride but most of them were totally worth the wait!
Our fav for most of the day was the Tatsu which spun and twisted you round in

elles swing ride :)all sorts of crazy directions while you were facing downwards with your legs hanging! Very cool! Then we did a roller coaster standing up which was also pretty crazy and a weird sensation!!
After doing 8 rides we had smashing headaches and needed food so decided to splash out and buy dinner there. $11 and a cold dry burger later we headed to the last ride of the day! By this stage it was like 7.15pm and the sun was starting to go down which was pretty cool cos all the lights on the rides were starting. We lined up for an hour and a half for the X2 ride which was the only 5th dimensional ride ever made. The whole line we were being informed of what happens when your on the ride and could see it also. So, by the time we reached the top it was pitch black and looked super scary but amazing!! So our hearts beating like crazy we hopped on the X2 ride and got strapped in lying on our back and headed up head firsat and then flew down at a vertical angle headfirst but then realsied up there that our seats
flipped 360deg throughout the whole ride! it was insane. We screeched the whole ride!! Fire was even blown at us halfway through! ohhh it was such good times and totally worth the wait!
We then headed home absolutely shattered with smashing headaches but on a massice high after the X2 ride. Great way to finish. We didnt get home till after 11pm and headed straight to bed!!
