No I did not rush over to give Team NZ a hurry up - I was just over nighting by the airport on my way to Coon Rapids, Minnesota to see my lovely American friend Susan.

Although had NZ won the last remaining race for the "Auld Mug" I would have had time to race into town to join the celebrations as I arrived mid day, however they didn't win that race of any other that matter which was a little disappointing for us over optimistic "kiwis".

"Intrepid traveller" - sounds good but not true. I love to travel and enjoy photography. I plan to record my travels, mainly to read again when I can no longer remember and also to share some of my photos while keeping in touch with family and friends during the time I am away from home. I never did the typical "OE" like many Kiwis, however while taking my annual holidays, most years I managed to travel somewhere different. Now that I have retired I am about to go on a mini "OE".
