Golden Gate Bridge

Arrived in San Francisco. The first place we knew we had to see was the Golden Gate Bridge. We navigated our way through the city and to the bridge. On each end there is a vista point with great views of the bay and the bridge itself which is a monster. The bridge is so much larger in person that I had thought it would be. Looking out at it you can only marvel at the feat of engineering. There were hoards of people biking and walking across the bridge so we decided to join them. Now...Rich and I are both a little height afflicted, but this was just crazy. The wind was blowing so hard that we had to put our heads down in an attempt to be more aerodynamic. The bridge is very high over the bay and looking up at the bridge would make you dizzy. Quite a thrill.
