We moved on to Monterey, CA and went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This is a beautiful aquarium built right at the edge of the bay with one huge three story tank in the middle. The viewing areas on each of the three floors offer different views of sea life. There are many other smaller tanks and areas that feature jelly fish, sea horses, starfish, anemoies, sharks, and smaller fish. The lobby areas on two floors have replicas of the Killer Whales and the Grey Whales hanging from the ceiling. They are very impressive. We had a lovely sunny lunch at the Aquarium restaurant right on the waterfront watching the sea birds on the rocks.
