OUr last day in the United States of America was spent sleeping in (for the first time in like 8wks a proper sleep-in!!), The lovely guy at the desk downstairs had pushed our checkout back until 2pm so we packed up our stuff for a final time and made our way down to the lobby at about 1:30pm. We left out stuff in the storage room and paid $3 for a ticket to catch the trolly out to Manhattan Plaza for an easy day. Originally we were gonna catch the train into Hollywood and shop it up but as we had a stack load of shopping already we figured we'd stay local.
The trip out there took about half an hour and we got the scenic route along Manhattan Beach which was nice. We arrived at the plaza to find our last glimpse of a Victoria Secret, so shopped it up there. Other than that there wasnt much else at the plaza, we found a CVS to grab our supply of American Candies to take home then made our way to the California Pizza Kitchen for our last taste of American Pizza, followed by one of the biggest and most sickening sundaes I've ever had (but it was soooooo good, im talking Haagen-Daaz icecream, with chocolate AND caramel topping and whipped cream with a cherry on top, no joke about the cherry either!)
So after we made ourselves sick on that we jumped back on the bus and made our way back to the hotel where we got changed into our comfy plane clothes and sat in the lobby playing UNO for the next few hours until it was time to catch our free shuttle to the airport for our 15hr flight home.
The flight home was good actually.. slept more than half of it, watched 'I love you, man' and a couple of eps of 'How i met your mother' and before i knew it we were home!! Yay, home to sun but freeeeeezing cold winds! but whatever, after 8 wks of living out of a suitcase i was finally back home.
