Back in Los Angeles. An extremely hot day here. Feels hotter than the 37 we experienced in Croatia. We were well prepared with hats, sunnies and water for our day at Universal Studios, Hollywood (the largest Film and Television studios in the world). We went on the new Simpsons Ride - this is the best simulator ride I have ever been on - absolutely amazing. The studio tour was interesting and thrilling it takes you through the King King 360 3D experience - it is the largest in the world. This was created by our own Peter Jackson. We had to be quiet going past one of the Studios as they were filming CSI. We also drove around Wisteria Place - the set for Desperate Housewives and we past some Western Sets and New York Sets amongst others, and the famous Jaws, Amity Island set (where Jaws jumped out of the water at us). We watched the Animal Actors show and the Special Effects show. The girls loved it and didn't want to leave. Of course Alice wanted to have her photo taken with ALL the characters. Back at the Hotel the girls had a swim before we had dinner.
