Another great night’s sleep by all and weather is unreal. Today there are forecasting a max of 27 degrees. Can you believe it ! I checked Atlanta and is is a max of 1. I am walking around in thongs (on my feet !).

Another continental breakfast and then we decided to take on the suitcase changeover. We will have no need to take all the warm clothing on the Cruise so we decided to convert from 7 suitcases to 3, and leave the two largest ones an two smallest behind at the Hotel (since we are coming back here again). Well wasn’t that a challenge !

Anyway we got all that done and it was lunch time by the time we were ready to leave the room. Today we were headed for the grand old Disneyland Park.

Had lunch as McDonalds next door and we were on our way.

Weather was a hell of a lot warmer and as soon as we entered the park you could tell we were facing larger crowds than we had seen so far. First the girls went on the Rocket ride and then we all we went to Tomorrowland where went on Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Racers twice. Then it was on to Space Mountain which is an excellent rollercoaster.

The girls went on Finding Nemo submarine ride and Luke & I went back to Space Mountain again. This time a bit more rougher as I was getting thrown around the car, and Luke left his Element Cap in the car (but managed to go back and get it later !)

Next was Matterhorn rollercoaster which is one of the originals, and Elise was a bit frightened by Yoda !

Ride waiting time was between 15-30 minutes which is not too bad for Disney, but lots of prams to dodge when walking around.

Had dinner in the park at a Cafe on Main Street, and it was good to have some veggie soup. We then went to Indiana Jones ride which is really good, and then to the Mountain Railroad where we used the fast passes and the kids went on this ride 5 times in the darkness. Haunted House was on the list as well.

Kids have been busy looking to trade their pins with the Disney Cast, and Luke bought a couple of new ones as well.

That’s two days used of our 4 days park hopper tickets and with all the walking I am feeling a bit shattered. Rather than fighting he crowds we went back to our room around 9.15PM so we could see the fireworks from our hotel balcony. They were great and Luke was busy taking photo’s with his new gadget. Unfortunately our small digital looks like it was frost bitten in Atlanta where it fails to open the lense (I only wish I bought a new one a the Unclaimed Baggage Centre !).

Organised a car hire for 2 days via Hertz for our return visit next week online who had a great deal of only $29.99 per day for a small sedan (that Gold Access is proving to be really helpful in getting discounts). That will make it easy for us to do some shopping at Citadel.

Already packed for the Cruise which starts tomorrow, weather continues to be forecasted at 25 or better.
