The first theme park we went to was Disneyland. The second was Knotts Berry Farm and the third was Universal Studios Hollywood.
In Disneyland there was two different theme parks. There was one called Disneyland and the other one called California Adventure and I went in both. In Disneyland they had lots of rides. The ride that I mostly liked were Splash Mountain, Autopia cars and Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. We went on the monorail twice. We saw two parades.
In California Adventure there is a ride California Screamin'. You go really, really fast up and really, really fast down. You also do a loop through a big Mickey. We went on another ride called Mike and Sully to the Rescue. It was based on Monsters Inc. and you're in a taxi following the movie. It was cool.
Time for Knotts Berry Farm. The first ride I wetn on was called the Silver Bullet. that was crazy. You lots of loops and twists. I had my eyes closed for the whole ride apart from one bit. I opened my eyes and I was upside down. I got off it and said to dad: "Did I just go on
that?" He laughe and said his legs were wobbly. We spent the whole day going on rides while Mum had her hair done and shopped.
At Universal Studios Hollywood we went on a ride called Jurassic Park. You do an 80 ft (27 m) drop past a big T Rex into the water. We went on a studio tour where you go around every studio (not every) and you go to these parks based on movies for example, Earthquake and King Kong and the Mummy and Jaws. At the Jaws bit, it was a story about a giant great white shark that kept eating people. In the carts, my brother and I saw a great white shark in the water that was fake. we looked away for a couple of seconds and we looked back and it was right next to us. Tome freaked at the big monkey at King Kong.
Yesterday I had the start of my birthday at Disneyland and today it's the rest of my birthday. We're going to a ghost town and some more baseball tonight.
Bye everybody from Daniel
