Winter 08-09 Trip Entry 4

[B]Sunday Nov. 30, 2008[/B]

Drove a total of 42 miles from Mesquite Campground to Stove Pipe Wells Campground today.
Got all set up in time to watch the Bronco's game & they won. At halftime we walked over to the Stove Pipe store & bought Fountain Diet Coke's. It was so nice outside that we sat outside & watched the Game on TV through the Motorhome's door.

[B]Monday Dec. 1, 2008[/B]

Drove to Furnace Creek to get mail & have lunch. Decided to have lunch at the Golf Course 19th hole snack shack.
Got back to the campground & worked on the VW a little.

[B]Tuesday Dec. 2, 2008[/B]

Today we just hung around the campground and I worked on the VW a little more. Wendy and her Mom walked to the Ranger station to get their NPS Passport books stamped and stopped at the store and bought ice cream bars for themselfs and bought her Dad and me one.

[B]Wednesday Dec. 3, 2008[/B]

We drove to the Titus Canyon parkinhg lot that is at the Titus Canyon drive exit for a Ranger lead hike up Titus.

Nice informative hike. We got back had lunch and them Wendy and her folks walked to the store for a Ranger talk but it never happened, so they came back.
I packed up some since we are leaving tomorrow. Grilled Tuna Steaks for dinner on the Weber grill.
Heading back to Terribles in Pahrump in the morning.
