Typical routine...up, dressed, breakfast, and pack the car. We’re headed home to WEST VIRGINIA!! Now it is no secret that I love to travel but I really love going home!! We only had one thing planned fir the day. I saw a video on my Facebook about a giant ice cream cone. I studied the video over and over until I could see part of the name. I researched and discovered the place was on our way home....sort of!! It would take us about an hour out of our way but we were all game to try it!!! So off we went to Garfield, Arkansas and the ShortStop Grill. Garfield was about 3.5 hours away so that would be perfect fir a bathroom/lunch stop! Left at 10am in Uma and Maanoj's car for the Museum called Crystal Bridges. (http://crystalbridges.org/) This is a free Museum, owned and funded by Walmart. The art pieces in the Museum are the private collections of Sam Walton's wife and daughter. They have colonial art collections and also contemporary pieces. We spent an hour in the Museum, half hour on the trail, had lunch. After a few rounds of 56 at home left Uma's place at ... read more

M came and picked us up at 7am. Reached Uma's house after a 5 hour drive. Uma showed us her house. It was time for lunch. So, without even sitting down left for lunch. Had lunch at an Indian restaurant called Indian Orchard..only buffet lunch...was good. Also ordered a couple of side dishes for the night. Then Uma took us to Walmart Stores. The Batmobile was being exhibited there until 3pm. Quite a number of people had come there to see it. While driving around saw Bogle Park. Next stop was 5 and 10..called five and dime, where Sam Walton of Walmart fame started his first shop. This shop has been converted into a Museum about the history of Sam Walton and Walmart. Then Uma took us to her office. From there went to Maanoj's office ... read more
