Well, I'm back in Fayette-nam, obviously, and even though I've been working at it for a while, I just now finished loading the last of MY pictures from the trip. I capitalize "my" because I intend on putting up pictures that I stole from other people next because there were some things I missed (like Euro Disney) because I brought my video camera instead of digital. And other people take cool pics too.
So these pictures include: our tour of Versailles (which is a palace, in case you didn't know), the completion of Mom and Kayla's tour of Paris (Musee d'Orsay, Monmartre, Eiffel Tower, Invalides), and then our travel to Rome.
Everything in Rome went well. We ran ourselves ragged, didn't know where we were going or what anything was (except the colliseum, that one we figured out), and other random glitches (like the Sistine Chapel being closed). However, our room was huge, and we loved the trip anyway. I wouldn't exchange it for anything, and I got to do it with my mom and sister. YAY!!
So, for those of you who were living vicariously, please continue, and I promise only one more (I just don't know
when).

glad to see these. the thing that you call "this sweet thing" is actually the fountain of the four rivers in piazza navona. this is right by my school. i usually ate my lunch there a couple days every week.
i need to see you more.
and it's the pantheon. i think the parthenon is in greece.
no. that wasn't my house. if you had turned about 90 degree to your left, then you would have been looking at my house. but you're very close.
Well, I did see your house at least. And thanks for the clarification; now I can sound more knowledgable.
bfm=monumento Vittorio Emanuele II. this vittorio dude was a big deal, as you might guess. the street my school was on is called corso vittorio emanuele II. italians call this building the typewriter because of its shape, and they almost pulled it down at one point in time because they thought it was too big and tacky. i could see it from my apartment.

Hall of MirrorsThis would be cooler if all these people weren't in the way.
