We are Trekkers!

We are finally going back to Europe! Our last European trip was in 2005 with my Mom and Dad. How did 7 years go by so quicklly. We always planned to do so much travel (wich to us means other continents and cultures), but there were always many things that got in the way. We had grand plans to explore places we had never been, but now with a fresh opportunity before us, we still wanted to return to our roots. And our roots seem to be France.

I was so fortunate to spend my junior year of college at the University of Bordeaux, France studying Art History. After that, I was hooked. I graduated from CAL (University of California, Berkeley) in 1976 and went back to live in Paris in 1977-1978. Bob and I got married in August 1979 and flew directly to Paris where we lived for a year. It couldn't be helped - we were trekkers for life. The only problem is that I got pregnant and we returned to the states. Then we had children, and then we got more serious about work, the children grew up, went to college and got married - and here we are 33 years later ... We Want To Be TREKKERS!
