Snow is Oak Creek Canyon
Went to Meteor Crater and then past Flagstaff and down 89A through Oak Creek Canyon. Crater was really interesting - - very cold and windy. Definitely worth the short detour to get there. It started snowing as we got to Flagstaff. By the time we reached the pass down into Oak Creek Canyon, it was foggy, about 3-4 inches of snow on the ground (though NOT on the road). The Canyon was spectacular, even in the snow, fog, and mist. Camped in Dead Horse Ranch State Park outside of Cottonwood, AZ. Very nice state park. The weather the next day (Easter Sunday) was gorgeous. Took a ride back up Oak Creek Canyon and back. AWSOME !!! Drove down to Phoenix today to visit with Skip & Mary.

Oak Creek
Gorgeous pictures. Looks like something on t.v. Was it cold where you camped?
