Up early and away, went out through the Joshua Tree national park to a place named Cottonwood at the south end of the park, well disappointment here, it was listed as an Oasis - NOT!!!!!!!!!!. Never mind moved on and up Highway 10 to Quartzite where we stopped for lunch. The photo of the RV is us parked between two big rigs. We are now in Arizona.
Off and up to Big River RV park which is on the Californian side of the Colorado River, across the river is Parker, what does my idiot driver do (thats me) but takes out the entrance post to the RV park with the RV - well done Craig, Sam was so nice and I only bent the steps to the bedroom.
The Colorado River is beautiful, very fast flowing, deep and clear, can see the fish swimming along. This river provides a huge amount of irrigation to the farms along its banks - most cropping - grass for hay.
Temperature is up in the 90's, Sam is loving the heat.
Have a look at the photo of the section for sale - rocks and dust, no lawns up here. We
