Saturday July 14, 2007 Our last day in Juneau and it was lightly misting. We took care of a few things in the morning and then we headed down to the far north end of Juneau. The Shrine of St. Therese was on the way and had been recommended to us. It was a lovely place on the Lynne Canal. The fog was heavy, but we could still see ducks, eagles, harbor seals, jumping fish and whales and beautiful flowers. The shrine was very peaceful and we enjoyed several hours there.
We went further down the highway, but the fog and mist was so heavy we couldn’t see anything so we turned around before we reached the end of the road. And so we end our time in Juneau
Tomorrow we take the ferry to Haines. It will be a short ride this time.
