Carnage in Cancun!!!

I left Fiji and headed to LA then down to Cancun, Mexico for a 2wk resort holiday with mates from back home.......it took me 38hrs, 4 flights and many hrs waiting in airports to finally arrive in Cancun....well worth it though!!
for the past 9 years I've never missed a lads summer holiday, and I said before I left home that if the 10th year was going to be a holiday to Magaluf or Tenerife etc I wouldn't bother making the effort in going.....but once the lads had booked for Mexico my mind was made up that I would make the effort in meeting them there.....so I did!!


I arrived a few hours before the flight from Glasgow so I hung around the airport till they arrived.....as they made their way through international arrivals I quickly done some math’s and realized we were a man down.......Liam had been refused entry to the flight as his passport was a bit worn and not good enough for travel.....so unfortunately we would be down to just 7 bodies for the first wk. so the 7 who made the journey were myself, Peggy, Tank, Paddy, Broonie, John and Boo....we were booked into Temptation Resort and Spa........as I waited for the boys to arrive from Glasgow I had a quick word with the rep about the hotel......her words were....'I hope you have an open mind as anything goes'........I thought this should be interesting!!
as we settled into the room after a few minutes big Peggy noticed a light switch between the 2 beds....it read....'Sexy Light'......we put it on and the head board and bed side table lit up a sexy red colour......went pretty well with the mirror on the wall which was about 2m by 3m!!!!


it was all inclusive and we got fresh bed linen and towels and the fridge was filled with beer, water and juice everyday.......absolute comfort after staying in hostels for several months......and a double bed to myself which was well accepted after many nights on single bunk beds!! Every room had a plasma TV too which a think was set to the default channel 12.....going with the theme or atmosphere around the resort am sure you can guess what was on channel 12 24/7!!!!


there were 3 restaurants....Italian, Chinese, Mexican and buffet hall......you had to be up at 10 to queue for booking the restaurants......which we only made 3 times....buffet was good enough though!! there was two bars you could drink at night, open air bar and the sports bar which had free pool tables and Nintendo Wii's to play with......there was always a place to get a burger and chips when you came back from the clubs!! there were also 3 different swimming pools.....the quiet pool, activity pool and the sexy pool......we spent every day at the sexy pool as this was where the action took place.
there were sex orientated games every day which was always a good laugh to watch.......the games masters best one was when they done Miss Temptation 2008 and the last thing the 3 girl candidates have to do is jump into the pool and collect as many men’s swim shorts as possible......then whoever collects the most wins........then the games master would run to the beach with all the shorts and throw them in the sea.....so all the guys had to climb out bollock naked and retrieve their shorts...........it was always more pleasing to the eye when they down Mr Temptation.....because most of the woman were topless around the pool so the guys had to collect the bikini bottoms.....then all the woman had to get out and retrieve their bottoms.......that made better viewing!!


there were some sights round the pool area......fake boobs everywhere by the Americans, but alot of them were well old and strolled around topless.....the younger ones were lovely!!


no names mentioned here......but one day we got talking to 2 American girls from Georgia in the Jacuzzi.......so the following day one of the lads spoke to them in the shop at reception......when he came to the room he said...' I was just talking to the 2 Americans that we spoke to in the Jacuzzi yesterday'........and someone replied....' naw they were from Georgia (as in Europe)'......a just can't say who it was....would be too embarrassing for them!!


we headed into town every night to go to night clubs......and they are the best night clubs I've ever been too.....really good and they make a real effort......cheap as well.....you just pay a cover charge of 40-60 bucks and you get drink all night!!


we planned to do trips etc.....but all we managed was jet skiing, and the booze cruise one night......I had planned to do scuba diving but it was early morning times and the night life was too good to refuse....although I did stay in one night and another night I went out but never drank......it just caught up with me in the end!!


it was a great 2wk holiday, which a wish we had maybe tried a few years ago instead of just heading to Europe where we stayed in cheap apartments and slept on the same sweaty bed sheet for a fortnight....also a change from hostel life and was great to see the lads again......there are many more stories I could tell but I don't have time as my time on the internet is running out soon.
