Chichen Itza one of the seven wonders of the world
We had a tour of Chichen Itza a Mayan city with an English speaking tour guide that explain lots of the building for us. There were pyramids and observatory used as a calendar. The site is about 2600 years old it is amazing what they could achieve so long ago. This was a large city in its day. I loved how it was in the middle of a jungle. There were so many people selling art work and it was very cheap but we cannot fit it in our bags and it may not get though customs. We then went to a sink hole that was filled with water and created by a meteor. At lunch there were traditional dancers. We were very tired when we got home it was a big day.
