Mexico!!!!!!!

So, we have made it to our last country..our poor passports have done their work. We have been in Playa del Carmen since Tuesday, we came here first to meet up with Lane and Tamara. While they were busy getting massages on the beach, we were cockroach hunting in our gross hotel room. We literally unhooked the TV and moved all the furniture into the hallways to get rid of them...i am getting really fierce with a broom! Besides the crappy accomodation, which is what we get in Mexico during semana santa, we have been having a great time. We can not believe the amount of tourists here though, it feels a bit like disneyland at times. And the locals continue to be just as annoying..yelling HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLOOOOOO to get our attention. One of our favorite places in town is right next to our hotel, the local alcoholics anonymous which is always open, and usually has 2 to 4 drunk men passed out on the curb in front of it. Always good for a good laugh.

We went to Xel-Ha yesterday and had an awesome time. The parrot fish are massive there, and the cliff jumping was a good time. We got Tamara on tape screaming her lungs out, but, hey, we all did it. Today we did 2 dives on the local reef. We got to see loads of sea turtles, at the expense of some bad seasickness. Dad, i now know what it is like to puke out of the regulator, but it was worth it. Tomorrow we are heading off to do some fresh water cave diving, so we gotta eat alot of bread in the morning to load us down..hahah


we are nearing the end of our journey, so someone make the weather warm up before we get home. keep sending the emails from home, so nice to hear from everyone
