Our last full day by the beach so needless to say it was another busy one - splashing about in the waves and eating and drinking. The cafes and restaurants here are not the cheapest in Mexico (though cheaper than we've been used to on our trip so far) but the standard of food is surprisingly high given the out-of-the-way location. The logic seems to be that the typical customer here is more likely to be influenced by nicer meals than by lower prices - there are quite a few Americans here after all - and we were extremely satisfied with the result.

Recommendations: 'Choco Banana' for breakfast or lunch, 'Hot Chilli' for dinner. The latter place earned extra points by welcoming us tonight with "yey, my honeymooners are back".

Sayulita's beach really would score 10/10 on anyone's scale. If you're looking for a place to relax you won't find much better.
