Wiki Wiki Transit!

Well well well......I am writing this while the Disney Magic is docked in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We have officially begun our "transit" across to Port Canaveral, Florida where the Disney ships normally dock. On the transit our ports of call include Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta (note: Mazatlan has been ommitted), Acapulco, Panama Canal, Cartagena (Columbia), Aruba ("Jamaica..ooh I wanna take her"), Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral. I am sooooo excited because Mum has spoken about Panama Canal before and how awesome it is so I can't wait. We even get scheduled time off to view the crossing through the canal...how awesome is that!

Either way; today I got off the ship and did a spot of shopping (Calvin Klein perfume, Guess bag, Calvin Klein polo top), and then went for a late lunch with Fabrice (work mate from Youth Activities). He is from Mauritius and is very very cool! We went to Portobello's, which is an Italian Restaurant...in Mexico. Funny! I had this yummy salad to start which had strawberries, Mandarine, Peacans, Lettuce, and fetta all covered in dressing and some honey. Sooo good! Then I had a pasta dish with chicken and mushroom. For dessert I had an apple tart with cinnamon ice cream on the side. It was a really nice place...if only it hadn't been so gloomy from the rain. It was so sticky in Puerto Vallarta but was bearable after it had rained a bit and cooled down. We headed back to the ship and I bought a painted tile which is beautiful. The artist is very talented.

I've had a 5 hour break today because it is "late night" in Puerto Vallarta. It is a late sailing (1am) to celebrate our excellent run of the Mexican Riviera. A lot of people are getting off the ship and going to a nice club somewhere. I finish at 11pm so am unsure if I'll get off again!

Tomorrow is a sea day and we sail towards Acapulco which is south of Puerto Vallarta. It will be lovely I expect so am hoping for a nice break to get off the ship.
