Zoo Time!

Guadalajara has a pretty big zoo. There are plenty of animals to observe and you can even feed some giraffes! They have a very raspy tongue. It’s gross.

Afterwards we visited our other Uncle. Tio Leonel is a quiet man. Tia Chita is old. She's my grandpa's sister. She must be in her late 90s by now.

While there they decided to take us to the park by the edge of the gorge. I had no idea we were that close to such an awesome place! The valley floor looks so far away from there and there is a very lush green landscape that dominates everything. Supposedly its where the San Andreas Fault comes to an end. Scary! We're one earthquake away from tumbling down into the valley below.
