Leaving Mexico City

Hi All,

Just thought we would say hello before we leave Mexico City! Not sure what our internet access will be like at Puerto Escondido.

We climbed the second highest Pyramid in the world yesterday after drinking 3 really nice home made Tequila's!! One was straight from the plant another was made with Honey and almonds mmmmmm and the other just plain tequila, all really yummy!

Teotihuacan was amazing, the view from the biggest pyramid was wicked. Being 2000 feet above sea level makes for hard climbing, and the steps are really steep, but pretty amazing when you get to the top! We seem to have done nothing but walk for the last two day's and we are ready for the beach and doing absolutely nothing for 2 weeks!

Went on the tube on Fri, that was an experience! Managed to find the Anthropology museum and accidentally stumbled across the zoo! Mandy we took some hippo pic's for you and Lou we got a really good one of a bear!!! At the end of the zoo there were penguins!! my favourite, for those who don't know!!!!

We had a shoe shine today! When we were sat in a cafe, we didn't have much choice!! But Sam's shoes have never been so shiny!!! It was really funny!! He told Sam to marry me because I has shiny shoes!

Got my first mozzie bite, I think the little bugger was in our room, it's big!!!

We accidentally stumbled across 60,000 people in the main square in the city last night, they were starting the Christmas celebrations with fire works, and live music and a giant ice skating rink!!! A bit weird!! you have got to see it to believe it! Thousands of mad Mexicans!! Dancing clowns and fire breathers on the zebra crossings stopping the cars!!!

Hope you are all well and not too cold!!!! It's really hot here and it's even hotter in Puerto! Not missing any of you yet!!!!
