Well, i slept more than 5 hours for the 1st time in God knows and we got a relaxed bus to San Cristobal De Las Casas. This is a colonial town in the heart of Chiapas.
We stepped off the bus to be met by the freezing cold!!!
it was bloody freezing, we got to the hostel to find everyone in Mayan hats and jackets sitting round a fire. We soon joined them and sat wondering if we were actually in Mexico.
So apparently it gets cold during the nights around here!!
So today we spent wandering around the marvellous markets and checking out museums and eating the best food i think i have ever had. I bought more hot sauce, some fine Tequila and nice things from the market.
Any requests? ponchos, woolen hats, zapatista dolls?
so this is the first place i think i have genuinly falled in love with and could stay if i had more time. Book into some more spanish classes and rent an old school VW Beatle.
The night life is pretty decent, the drinks still cheap and tonight we´re all gonna go and see some Reggae band in some venue.
