1 killer whale, 2 countries, 3 tequilas & 4 singing Mexicans!

Another early start for me again, Can't sleep for some reason up an hour and a half before everyone else. Thank god for the laptop!

After breakfast we decided we would head across the border to Tijuana, Mexico and then come back and spend the afternoon/evening at Seaworld. We drove the 20 minutes to the border and parked up then began to walk across before changing our minds and jumping on a shuttle bus. We got off and strolled through a mini shopping centre, then 'OMG' got hassled big time, Particularly Nige and my mum - Cos of her grey hair I think, Well they kept going on about it anyway, trying to sell her silver jewellery cos it matched her hair! Then one guy said to Nige "Let me sell you something you don't need" - and he did, he came away with a wallet he didn't need.... So next stop? A bar, now these prices I liked - 4 Corona's, 3 tequila's, a magarita, a bottle of water and a coke.....£9 - We're going back tomorrow!!! We even got hassled in here by men trying to sing us songs and eventually gave in to one group for $5, It was probably worth $5 - saying that I couldn't do any better! (See video above)

We thought we would walk back as all the signs stated it was 15 minutes, The walk wasn't too bad but it took just over an hour to get through border control, and then we realised none of us knew where the car was parked! After bluffing our way as if we knew it - Myself and Joe did actually stumble across the right car park - 20 minutes later. So onto Seaworld it was, 25 minutes up the interstate.

We hired another wheelchair for my mum as her back is still playing up and this time Nige done most of the pushing, including taking out some young girl and leaving her heel almost skinless - she didn't even make a noise she just sobbed heavily but silently, Dunno if my mum thought she was invisible but she just buried her head in her arm, Me and Joe pretended we didn't knew them! So back to Seaworld, we wandered round seeing - Eels, Starfish & Sea Lions and then bought some food to feed the Stringrays - I touched one for about a second and then got scared! Joe & Nige fed them.

Next up was Shamu (world famous Killer Whale) - We got in our seats and watched the pre-show film, then an employee came on stage and spoke a bit, then asked everyone to applaud the heroes at war in Iraq & back home, then 'we' thought she said stand to applaud, so up rose myself, Nige & Joe and about 40 others, Oh dear, how stupid did we look - What she actually said was could the hereos that are in the arena please stand..... We quickly sat down, and enjoyed the rest of the show which was brilliant.

We then continued round the park seeing - Dolphins, Sharks, Polar bears, Penguins and a Walrus! Time was getting on bit for us (7:30! - Well past our bed time!!) so we headed back to our hotel and had dinner at 'Phil's BBQ' Thats the restaurant name, I don't know Phil.... Anyway it was gorgeous, they have the best onion rings I've ever eaten. Left with a take out!

Nige and Joe went for a quick dip in the pool, whilst the fireworks of Seaworld went over head, I crashed on the sofa! Think its catching up on me, Hopefully have a good nights sleep tonight!
