"On Tuesday it wasn't really a good day because I threw up because I got food poisoning from this restaurant called Mustafa. Only 3 of us got it, but I am fine now. Then Wednesday we just stayed at the hotel at the pool. We played soccer and had a little picnic by the pool. Now it is Thursday, it was not a good day either because I lost my ipod. I cried so much that my eyeballs almost fell out. But we went to one of the best restaurants in Mexico called Laja. It was very good. When we got back to the hotel we packed. Friday we left Mexico but that was not the end of the trip because we were going to San Diego to see my grandpa Jay." - Sofia After a great day of whale watching, the next day we spent the day visiting wineries. It started really fun and ended as the worst day of the trip. We rented a van and a driver and after a good breakfast, we headed to the first winery. It was called Casa de Piedra. It was Ralf's favorite, buy my dad did not like the wine too
much. We took a tour and saw where the wine was made which was cool.
The second one was called Tres Valles. I had a lot of fun here. After they tried the wine, we played a lot there. There were these large spiders and dragons made from metal. Instead of sand, there were millions of grape seeds. I had fun making a video trying to pronounce all the wine grapes. Lots of fun.

The next one was called Vinisterra. After they tasted the wine it was time for lunch. We decided to go to a place called Mustafa. It was recommended by the guy in the winery and also in the guide book. Milan did not want to go in, and we probably should have listened. The food was just okay. Not bad but not very good. I split a meal with daddy (some meat, rice beans, tortillas), and Lara and Ralf split a similar meal and Milan had a hamurger. Lara, Me and Daddy also had the chips and salsa that was served first.....
We then went to an older winery called Monte Xanic. It was a
Looking Cute
Tres Valles pretty cool looking place, but the adults said the wine was not good. The final place of the day was called Vena Cava and it had roofs that were old boats turned upside down. Before going in I tried to go to the bathroom as my belly was feeling a little weird. Nothing happened. Then we went in. A few minutes after being inside, I tapped daddy, frowned, and pointed to my neck. Daddy new immediately there was a problem.....He picked me up and ran toward the front door. Too late...I vomited a bunch of time inside before making it out the door and then finished outside. It was horrible. Daddy took good care of me, changed my clothes, and then we waited outside for the other 3. They came out and we went back to the hotel. I was already feeling better but still a little weird.
Back at the hotel, I took a shower and daddy lied in bed with me. Our plans where to relax and watch the USA v Mexico game at the hotel. We started to get dressed up, but the tatoos on our face and shirts on. We even put a USA bandana
on Milan which did not match his Mexican jersey...but then, daddy did not feel to good. Yes, daddy then spent some time in the bathroom throwing up. I felt so bad for him. He did not feel well. So we did not go with Lara, Ralf and Milan to the entertainment room to watch the game. When they came back, they told us that it was a horrible game that ended 0-0 (which was very good for USA), then it was Lara's turn. Yes, she was sick most of the night. SO 3 out of 5 of us go food poisoning. Probably from the salsa at Mustafa. We should have listened to Milan.
Next day, I was feeling all better, but daddy was still feeling a little bit bad. We did go to 2 wineries, paralelo and LA Cetto, but then we stayed at the hotel and went swimming and had a picnic. It was nice and relaxing. We played some soccer too.
On our last day in Mexico, we went to yet another 2 wineries, Mogar Badan and Tres Mujeres. The second one I lost my ipod. We think it may have been stolen as I and
Lara remember that it was on a bench and when I came back it was gone. I was very sad but daddy said he would buy me another one.
We then went to one of the best restaurants in Mexico, Laja. It was so good. It was very small. I had some salmon that was raw and melted in my mouth as well as a delicious desert. After a final winery, Vina Garza, we headed back to the hotel and had fun. It was our last night and I had so much fun with Ralf, Lara and Milan. I am sure we will see them again in Miami or somewhere else. Despite one case of food poisoning, losing my ipod, it was still a great time and still had San Diego and Avo Jay to go.
