Downwind Sailing

Hello to all our friends and family.

Just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for coming to our little Bon Voyage get together. We were thrilled to see you all and quite surprised to receive all those awesome gifts. That was totally unplanned for, but we do appreciate it, and those yummy chocolates Roxanne and Charles brought went down the hatch in the next couple days... yum! yum!

The dog , Ollie, has been adopted by Chelsea and Jay and is heading north to Monterrey as we do final preparations to head south.
Last big project is an installation of a wind generator. Hopefully that will happen here within a week or so. I have been buying goods for the boat for a while now, and still have more to bring aboard. Our "ditch" bag needs to be filled, and some items lashed down on the deck, and we will be hopefully sailing south, with our first port of entry Mag Bay. Depending on the weather, which I hope will be fair winds off the stern quarter, will be about 5 days or so.

Pictures and updates will occur as we enter a port with an internet cafe.
