I got back last night from a trip to Vancouver Island. Myself and my SA friend Brendan had a couple of days off so we decided to meet a couple of our friends on the Island who were doing a tour and would be in a surfing town called Tofino on the west coast (where there is nothing to stop the pacific waves breaking all the way from Japan). The morning came around too quickly due to the alarm waking us up at 7am as we had a long day ahead of driving. Before checking out, we managed to upload the last two blogs, which was good as there is no WAP at our hotel tonight. After a fantastic week or so in Vancouver, unexpectedly extended after I lost my wallet (a big drama but everything got sorted in the end) Lucy, Amy, Madeline and I headed over to Vancouver Island. The Big Sleep

Today was a lazy day. Didn’t get up until around 9am, and then sat and updated the blog and sorted photos out until 1pm. The cleaners were banging impatiently at the door, wanting to come in and clean, but we made them wait until we left for the afternoon. Decided against yet another Mc D’s gourmet breakfast and had a chocolate instead - probably more nutritious too! San Francisco to Calgary

We got to the airport nice and easy this morning but everything from that point on was just a big pain in the a##! San Francisco Airport is by far the most unorganised airport we have seen in the last 6 months. We had a flight booked with United Airlines and initially got sent from their counter for international flights to the one for domestic. Fair enough, we had that before. Vancouver - A year later...

The weather is a little colder than it was this time last year.

We're back. Here was everything thanking their lucky stars that we made it to the end of our trip and back to Vancouver safe and sound. No more blogs to endure - hah!!!, we've enjoyed writing them so much that we've decided to keep them up. After all, they are such a good way to share even more adventures with friends and family who are dotted the world over. So, we made it safely back to Vancouver on November 25th 2005. Victorian Delights

BC Ferry to Vancouver Island
Off to Victoria.

The day started way too early, for people who are supposed to be on holiday, at 6am! Today we were going to catch the ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island, 1 ½ hours away. Getting Antsy ... Leaving in 5 months!

Still At Home The weather is finally getting warm, which is good, or i'd hop on a plane ASAP! I'm planning a trip for September of this year to Australia, New Zealand, and who knows where else.
