With the departure date (a very small 12 days) drawing ever so close I thought I would let you all know that I've noticed an increase in the number of zits visible on my face...what does that mean? Stressed may be a bit harsh so rather, lets say I'm getting excited albeit nervous about departing into the unknown. Thats normal right? Of course it is. Other than that, all's cool my babies. On the road again....
Nat

Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I've added an entry to my blog so I thought it be about time. Also, it's another way to procrastinate from doing my many readings :-) Anyway, things are incredibly busy for me. Each one of my classes has soooo much work involved. I didn't think I could handle it, and I don't know if I can still. But I know it'll be worth it in the end. I find a few of my classes quite interesting, like Music, Math, and Social Science. But there are some that just make me wanna [View Full Entry]

Bagging up

North America » Canada » Quebec » Montréal
Back home I passed the entire day not believing what was happening and was about to happen. I kept on calling my friend, to make sure we wouldn't be missing anything. *exhales* Wow, I am leaving in a few hours. I need to pack, and make sure everything on my list is checked! We are leaving Montreal at 19:30 and going right away to England to arrive there early morning tomorrow... You cannot know how weird this is, I can't seem to realize much of what's happening, I really don't get that in less than a day I will be walking [View Full Entry]

Just to confirm our worst suspicions, while shaking out the tent during pack-up this morning, we were showered not with water droplets but rather projectile ice cubes - I kid you not. Luckily, our next stop, Banff, is meant to be marginally warmer. The day was spent taking our time along the scenic drive between Lake Louise and Banff, where we set up camp in a nice spot on Tunnel Mountain (yes, yes, we should know better by now than to keep camping up mountains). Since there was some time left before nightfall, this was our chance to go looking for [View Full Entry]

A Round of Golf, Dear?

Okay, so here's my take on the last couple of weeks - thanks for stealing my thunder Dave! We're back in Canada after a really lovely stay in Dodgeville, Wisconsin - big thanks to Laura and Brian for their kind hospitality. It was really lovely having a home-from-home for a while to recharge our batteries! Madison was really pretty and had a nice cool vibe about it. We had a few drinks in the student union there, which is right on the lake - it was a gorgeous setting and we watched the sun go down over the water. Definitely the [View Full Entry]

Dave again. I know Tracey has been preparing a blog entry summarising where we've been over the past couple of weeks - so I'll leave the details to her. Update on the beer front! Toronto's Steam Whistle beer has muscled it's way into the top 3. Probably not quite toppling Wisconsin's Edil Pils from the top spot - but I'd say it's in 2nd place ahead of Sammie Adams. We visited the brewery after going up the CN Tower whilst in Toronto & they were giving away free beer. Didn't seem to mind us going back for quite a few refills [View Full Entry]
