I'm still alive!

Sorry guys, I've been slack. Don't worry though, I'm still here!

I guess we all knew the one entry a day thing had to end soon.

So this week i started my new job at Yellow Pages. It's been dull to say the least. The first day we got there and they hadn't set us up with passwords or anything. That took a while to organise, so we had countless coffee breaks that day. Good day! They still haven't got us all the programs we need, cos the licenses cost so much. We're doubling up on work and it's a bit ridiculous, but maybe our contract will go longer cos we're always backtracking. The people we work with are pretty good, there are two girls from Canada (of Asian descent) two guys from England, one guy from South Africa, and Erin and I, the Aussies. Pretty multi-cultural bunch!

On Friday I got called into work at some printing company, answering their phones. I got called at 9:45 and got there by 12.. I got incredibly lost and had to get a cab part of the way so I wasn't any more late.

The weekend was a gooden, we went and saw a cover band on Friday night at the Roxy. Troys R Us they're called.. Awesome band! Best coverband I've seen in a long time, if not ever. I got pretty trashed. Met a Canadian boy woo! That's all I'll say on that matter.

Didn't do too much on Saturday, but went a comedy gig on Sat night. The main guy was hilarious, I had a sore tummy from laughing so so much. Sunday I went to a shopping centre in Lougheed and got my haircut too. Woo.

I've been getting my room together, and now have a base for my bed (which was apparently there the whole time, but I never saw it) and a clothes pole for my wardrobe. I've also put all my photos from my sooky-la-la album on my wall. Can definitely tell it's my room now! Still gotta go to Ikea, hopefully this weekend.

So it's finally Friday and the weekend is heeeeere! Erin and i are off to the Blahney Stone ( I think) in Gastown. I'm yet to go to Gastown, so hopefully it's good! I'm going to wear a skirt or dress tonight.. I've seriously lived in pants the entire time I've been here. I'll brave the cold. Hopefully it doesn't snow like it did last week.

Oh that's another thing.. it snowed last Friday night! I wasn't expecting it so wasn't dressed for it at all.. It was so so pretty! I took a photo of my house the next morning so here we go..

OK I better go get ready to go. I promise to make more of an effort to update this thing.
