Welcome to Real Life

So I moved into my house the day before yesterday.
There was some mixup with the bedding situation, the guy moving out of my room took his bed with him into his new room, so i was left without a bed. Frick. My housemate is supposed to be buying me one, but for the last two nights I've had to sleep on a futon mattress about an inch thick, on the floor. Better off at the hostel!

I haven't bought anything to "home up" my room just yet, cos I don't know if I want to stay here for too long. We'll see how it goes. I'll give it 4-6 weeks and see how I feel later.

I got a job yesterday! Erin has the same job, so I just went to her temp agency and they hooked me up too! We start on Monday at Yellow Pages, inputting the ads. Sounds alright. It's for 4-6 weeks, or maybe longer. Temp work will be good if I can keep it going, cos I'll be able to not work for a few weeks so i can travel, and not have to deal with leave requests and stuff.. I can just not work! Sounds good to me

Yesterday after my interview I took Erin to the Aquarium (so my free ticket is gone, sorry Mum!) and it was fun, as always! Then we went to the Beaver for dinner and a few too many drinks. Fun night! I had to leave early cos I had to get the Skytrain home.. Am still not sure what time the last one leaves. I called Tom while I was walking home so i wouldn't get scared.

Today Erin and I are off to MetroTown.. Yay!

I'm having a bit of trouble with my international SMS' lately.. It seems I can get yours but some people aren't getting mine? I'll look into it. Please don't think that I'm ignoring you!!
