PEGGY HOUSE SHUFFLED IN THE VERY 1ST ISA!
Joining us on our Inaugural to Holland and Germany will be Peggy House >> shuffler extraordinaire!! Peggy was a member of the Canadian Women’s Team that in 1981 at Muskegon, MI placed 1st in the very first International Shuffleboard Tournament!! Reflect just for a minute; that was 27 years ago and we do have a pic of Peggy taken at about that time. Peggy’s late husband Jack was the very first President of the Canadian National Shuffleboard Association (CNSA). We also have a pic of Peggy taken at Midland, ON on the occasion of the 26th ISA.
Peggy competed in 6 International events and finished 2 of them without losing a single game!! She is the only Shuffler, man or woman, ever to achieve this significant mark of excellence.
When asked to comment on her Two Perfect Records, she had this to say: “There is nothing like hearing your National anthem being played when you are representing your country! It is a tremendous opportunity to meet players from other countries. Indeed, there is no greater feeling when competing for your country than that experienced when you achieve your goal.”
We look forward to
having Peggy on the Inaugural.
