Canada's paramount political problem is meeting public demands for quality improvements in health care and education services after a decade of budget cuts. The issue of reconciling Quebec's francophone heritage with the majority anglophone Canadian population has moved to the back burner in recent years; support for separatism abated after the Quebec government's referendum on independence failed to pass in October of 1995.

On a plus de meubles!!

Nos billets d’avion sont maintenant achetés!! Notre date de départ définitive est le 21 octobre, 8h25.. ça approche vite! Étant donné que notre date de commencement a été retardée de 2 semaines, on a décidés de se gâter et de faire une escale de 5 jours à Hawaii!!! Pas facile la vie! Vancouver aquarium (so cheating again), but I think the photo is cool. And no, they're not upside down.

Bonjour Did you know there are pack gremlins? They go into your pack at night and move your stuff. They are particularly fond of my hair brush. I'm sure they also are responsible for the invisible, spaceless rocks that seem to weigh down my pack. Anyway, Montreal. French. Elly, do you remember all those French classes we spent scribbling on the desk - well I'm beginning to think now that perhaps we should have paid attention!! Ca y est, le contrat est signé, il n’est plus possible de retourner en arrière, on s’en va en Australie pour 2 ans!!! Notre dernier jour au travail à Montréal est passé et nous sommes maintenant autorisés à acheter nos billets d’avion. 24.09.07 heute morgen hiess es dann mal wieder um 8 uhr vor dem hostel auf den neuen tour guide warten.. meine letzte tour dieser reise begann !!! homer holte erst mich ab und dann von einem anderen hostel drew , aus ausralien , carly , aus england , und jess , ebnso aus ausralien , sowie eine japanerin . so machten wir uns auf den weg in richtung nordost , ca.500 km. nachdem wir fuer lunch eingekauft hatten , machten wir eine einstuendige bootsfahrt im bay of 1000 islands . wirklich wunderschoen da , auch wenn ich mir nicht vorstellen koennte [View Full Entry]

The ‘going away for the weekend’ bug started early for most of us with a trip to Montreal in week 2 of the semester.
