What to write in a first entry?
Right now I'm sitting in the lobby of the Econolodge in Montreal, where 13 of this year's group of Guatemala Stove Project volunteers are staying for the night before catching an early flight to Newark, NJ, getting into Guatemala city around 2 pm tomorrow (if all goes well). We have a 3 am wakeup call and will be taking a shuttle to the airport.. I can't wait to get on that plane.. it's ridiculous how long I've been saying I want to go back!
We just got back from a fancy french steakhouse called Le Bifteque, where I footed the cheapest bill with the soup of the day. I'm too cheap to spend more on a meal then I'm paying for my room tonight.. no, not "cheap".. frugal.
Anywho, I hope you Perthites keep me updated on what's new and exciting, as I surely will from my end.
