Tim: Today has been a good day. We took a metro down to the Biodome and went over to the Giles Villneave circuit, the home of Canadian Formula 1. Tim: We are now in Montreal. We took the train from Toronto to Montreal, it took us 5 hours on the train. It is all French here! We might as well be in France! I started today by going to get Fairmont Bagels. Really really good and cheap. Lonely Planet tourbooks are great and one of my fellow couchsurfers Lisa (Marylin had multiple surfers, 4 of us total on Sunday night) has one. I had an avocado still so I invented Avocado Breakfast Spread, which is avocado with milk and sugar. I think melted cream cheese could do a better job, but it was really good. Salut, bonjour, from the South Shore, Today as I was riding a bike over the Jacque Cartier bridge (connects the South Shore with the island of Montreal, yes Montreal is actually a river delta) it started to sink in that yes I am actually in North America, a highway sign pointing to Quebec city/U.S.A kind of reinforced this. Je devais normalement étudier en travail social et en philosophie à l'université de Sherbrooke, mais après réflexion j'ai fait une demande d'admission en juillet en psychoéducation pour l'automne 06. J'ai passé deux semaines à vivre à sherbrooke en appartement en l'attente de mon acceptation en psychoeducation, que je croyais assurée vu ma place en tête de la liste d'attente et mes expériences de travail. Vendredi le 8 septembre 2006 Après un petit déjeûner chez DÉDÉ à St-Paul de l'Ile aux Noix, en compagnie de Denise, Benjam, Jean-Marc, Lise et Benoit de SOLINO, Carmen et Robert de CAMINATA ainsi que Nycole de KOUAC KOUAC, nous larguons les amarres et débutons notre "Grande Aventure"...
