Left Quebec City around noon and stopped by St Annes de Beaupre Cathredral. Then we stopped for groceries and local beers (of which we saw many). Janet slipped and fell on her deriaire after checking out. All is well though,just made for an interesting blog entry. Continued on northeast-ward along the St Lawarence Seaway. Very scenic. Also, had to cross a bay on a ferry and saw somw beluga whales. Very cool. Stopped for the night in Baie Comeau and had a nice dinner at Chez Greco. Tomorrow we start heading north and get just inside the Labrador boarder. Sure hope the roads are ok and we can find gas. I guess we'll find out. Met a nice young man on the ferry who said "that's alot of driving" after we told him where we were going. Have always been able to find someone who speaks a bit of English to get us fed and keep us from getting lost. We are missing English newspapers (Janet likes the crossword puzzles), but we do get some English channels on tv and looks like most of the news is bad anyway...
