Acne in young skin
Acne is a non-infectious disease that begins at puberty. Is identified clearly by the appearance of grains (and black spots) but also the skin which is more fat. But what is it?
For adolescents, the onset of puberty is usually marked with the first rash. Hormones are the origin of these skin imperfections that appear in the T zone of the face (forehead, nose and chin), but also in the back and chest. Typically, the function of sebum in the sebaceous glands present is to prevent the skin from drying. But in adolescence, sebum production is packed, its concentration increases in the hair follicle (the root of the hair) and the skin becomes oilier. Result: The follicle becomes clogged and excess sebum spills on the surface of the epidermis, leaving it shiny and fat.
Excess sebum With the rising of the hair
Excess sebum With the rising of the hair, the pores become clogged and at that moment are those dreaded blackheads or microcysts.
What are the causes of
Acne No More Review Problems?
Four factors that favor the appearance of acne:
Excessive production of sebum makes the skin is bright and shiny. Also referred to as hyperseborrhea.
The skin pores become clogged and the sebum is trapped and appear comedones (blackheads), it is the hyperkeratosis.
The proliferation of
bacteria (proponiobacteirum acnes), inside of the hair follicles causes inflammation in the skin surface and the grains appear red.
Contrary to what many think, not following a proper diet is not the source of acne. Both chocolate and charcuterie and can be consumed normally, as long as it takes a varied and balanced.
The different types of acne pimples
The skins have different types of acne lesions of varying severity.
Comedones or blackheads: are small "bottlenecks" that are formed in the holes of the hair follicles and are colored black due to oxidation of sebum.
Microcysts are small white bumps on the skin, usually on the cheeks or chin. Often develop into blackheads which become inflamed and red beans.
The bumps, red bumps, are sometimes painful inflammatory lesions. These can be reabsorbed or, become pustules.
The pustules are identical to the bumps but these contain a yellow purulent fluid. Generally referred to as white grains are the result of superinfection of lesions.
Nodules are a characteristic severe acne. Inflammatory lesions are red, deep and painful.
The positive side of acne is a disease that is disappearing in most instances spontaneously with age. Once passed the 20 years in the case of boys, and 22, in the case of girls, acne becomes a mere bad memory.
