Day 62. Saturday. I got up around 1000hrs and had some toast with mom and dad. Closer to noon I unloaded the bike and rode to Stratford to visit my brother and family. We had some Chinese for dinner and I rode back to Woodstock about 2200hrs. The clouds had moved in during the evening and were holding in the heat which made the ride quite comfortable. Day 61 18,163Km As far as the clock was concerned I had no rush ahead of me today, however with an over height vehicle you cannot make a reservation on the ferry to Tobermory so the sooner I got there the better chance I had of getting on. I should be imagining my flight, seeing my family, and falling to my knees at St. James' Gate.... The goal is to have it all wrapped up by Friday ("it" being annoying/boring/very dry grown-up paperwork), and then have a really fantastic last weekend with my family. I can't wait to be in Ireland...it feels like I've waited so long to go, that it's taken so long to get to a place where I can just pick up and go play there. I'm not excited yet....I know that I will be the moment I land in London though....... read more

I will be flying out from Toronto on September 16th and arriving in Shanghai on the 17th, where I will take a train to Nanjing. I am very excited to go! If you subscribe to my blog, you will receive an email each time I add another entry. I will probably not add anything else until I am safely on the other side of the world. ~Chris... read more
