Time flies when you're on the go...

The last 2-3 months have been full of surprises in my life, some fun, some not so great. But overall, things are well. Here's a short list:

 •  Moving to my new apartment down the street and having to furnish it (I now officially HATE moving)
 •  Missing family & friends in Chicago
 •  Trying to adjust to Toronto and not succeeding at first
 •  Beginning to succeed in adjusting to Toronto
 •  Missing my train to Montreal, and having to take a 7hr bus instead to apply for a visiting visa to the US at the Montreal consulate
 •  Staying with Bastien C. from American School of Paris (high school buddy = lots of memories revisited)
 •  Playing soccer with some high school team in Montreal and realizing how much more friendly people are there than in Toronto (no offense)
 •  Jet skiing in Canada. Ridiculous!
 •  Driving to Ottawa, then Montreal with David M. & Timi T. during halloween weekend (~6 hour trip each way)
 •  Having a great time with David M. & Timi T. in Montreal
 •  Meeting some very hospitable ladies in Montreal, who took us clubbing and showed us a great time (thanks Nari, Laurence & Yasmine)
 •  Sleeping on an air mattress for a LONG time, and buying a memory foam to make it more comfortable (surprisingly, it is)
 •  Being too lazy to buy a bed even though that was the #1 item on my shopping list. Not really interested in carrying a bed all the way to my apartment by myself. Too lazy to ask my friends for help
 •  Hanging out with my big bro when he drove down to Toronto to visit
 •  Watching entourage every Sunday, first with David M. then with Danielle now that it's getting cold
 •  Buying a mac, then realizing that though there are some really sick (i.e. sweet, amazing, whatever) features I'm not yet a "mac guy". I'm going to return it and get a PC
 •  Playing soccer last night and almost dying because I'm way out of shape
 •  Writing this blog post knowing that this is the most useless list ever compiled by man
