Hawaii

Well first off Hawaii is awesome. I was there for a work conference. I won the opportunity to go because im super awesome at my job. If everyone didnt know I am a travel agent. Boo ya. Well let me break down the days as I usually do. Its been a while since I posted anything on her about trip. Pretty sad I think.

Day 1

I met everyone else from work at the airport around i think 2. We are flying to Hawaii through Vancouver. By the time we showed up in Honolulu it was 10pm there time and around 4 am back home in Toronto. So I was super tired so I headed to my 1 star hotel I booked. The Auqa Surf its really cheap and decent and a block from the beach. I think I paid 70 bucks.

Day 2

I was up crazy early because of the time difference. So i text a buddy of mine and we went to Dukes from from breaki . Not too bad . I then headed to the Sheraton where we were staying for free. Man nice hotel and we had an ocean view . And we could see turtles in the water from out balcony. Awesome. So I went down with my buddy to chill by the pool and thought i should have a beer till i realized it was 10 am. Ah well had one anyways then fell asleep and got soooo burt like lobster. Later on we had a meet and great with some wholesalers and had some drinks. Later on that night we went to some crazy night club vegas style. its funny because i was so tired I walked in the front part thinking it was the bar and said wow this bar sucks . i have been to 1000 bars like this. So i went home at 12 . I come to find out the next day the place was huge , i had to go around the corner hahah It was amazing everyone said. Most people were up till around 9am. Wait one thing i forgot to mention is that this conference for myself and 3000 other travel agents from around the world . SO it was party central.

Day 3

I woke up a little rocky even though i went to bed at like 1am. We had to go to the conference at around 8:30 . We sat and listening to some high ups from company talk about our direction. To be honest pretty good insight. Then they announce the guest speaker who happened to be Lance Armstrong. He talked for awhile and it was pretty rad. Later that day we went out for lunch and then took a big ass nap. The night was the BALL . A huge 3000 person black tie event . it was amazing including the after party and I got home around 3.

Day 4

I had to be up early again.( People say this is a vacation) i was heading over to Kaui for a 3 day fam trip. ( basically a free trip for travel agents to go check things out and then tell clients). So i was out waiting for the shuttle bus at 8 . We all got on the bus a few people let there nightly intake out on the bus. Good start. We then waiting at the airport and flew over the little island. So the flight was 20 min - up and down hahah . Oh Man this island is super nice. I would tell anyone to come visit here. Hawaii airlines was awesome . Well the flight is only 20min but I had some OJ . So that night we check out another hotel and went to ours. I roomed with a cool guy I just met from Melbourne. Im not sure if i mentioned this before but the entire group of people were from Australia, for some reason the messed up and let me on hahah. So that night we had dinner and few drinks and straight to the room since most of us only got 2 hours sleep.

Day 5

Yes you guessed it another early morning. This morning we were going on a snorkel cruise around the Naali coast. Let me tell you that this place was amazing. it is where Jurasic Park was shot. Check out my pictures , better yet go there and look for yourself. The cruise itself was cool and we ended back at our hotel around 2 and chilled on the beach for a bit. took a nap then headed to the Luau for a giant fest and some dancing. it was really cool and then we headed back to the hotel had some drinks at the beach and you guessed it again BED.

Day 6

Headed kinda early for the airport , said good bye to all the new friends I met and will hook up with in Australia .

I got a ride back to Waikiki with someone I met and then headed to my hotel. Since it was like 12 my room was not ready so I went to the beach to hang out . I layed in the sand for a few hours.When my room was ready I was super tired so I watched some TV. Later that night I met up with some people I met from work and we had dinner at the Cheese Cake factory. Then I went home since I was super tired again.

Day 7

Today I sat in my room as long as possible since I had to be out at noon and my flight was at 10:50 that night. So at 12 I left my stuff there and walked around . I happened to meet up with some people from my work in Canada. So we had some lunch. After that I spent like 4 hours just walking around until it got to hot. At that point I layed in the sand again for like 2 hours . By this time it was time for shuttle to the airport . So dude picks us up with his pregnant girl friend in the passenger seat. And what do you know she goes into labor . So he busts to pick the other two people off and drop us off at the airport as fast as possible. Crazy eh . Well that night i got on my flight slept all the way to Vancouver. slept in the Vancouver airport with like 200 people siting around me . Then I slept all the way to Toronto.

All in all one of the coolest vacations ever. Sucked I went without the lady friend but good because I only spent 300 on everything. Work Perks are nice sometimes.
