So Thursday I flew from sunny Ft. Lauderdale Florida into Toronto, Ontario Canada. First thing is just to let you know about Toronto or the Greater T. Area. Toronto itself has about 2 million people. The GTA has about 6 million people with city’s so close that its almost one huge city. As I arrived into Toronto’s huge Person airport, my cousin Courtney and her friend Sayo “ pronounced “SAA-YO”picked me up . We hugged and decided to get moving to the car. I got into T.O around 23:00 hours so it was getting late. But I'm on holidays so we decided to hit the bar up right off the plane. After a 20 min drive or so we arrived at a place called JJ’s. JJ’s is a local hang out nice little bar with pool tables. Well we started it off with a nice twist Jager - Bomb shots. We’ll cousin Courtney couldn’t drink b/c she had to work at 5 am. So me and Sayo hit the shots hard. Jager-bomb went down too smooth … so we had to change to a Tequila. Yes I said it Tequila the one shot I said I would never drink again.
Towerthe tallest building in the world.
So we started 1, 2, 3, and instead of floor ….we went for more. “ hahahah” yes you guessed it was a fun first night to start off what was to be a great weekend. We drank well past 3:30 in the morning.
Well the next day I got up quite early for someone drinking shots the night before. Friday during the day was just a relaxing day. I helped out Uncle Doug and Auntie Brenda by mowing the lawn and help them by cleaning the pool. So it was a prefect way to get settled into being back in cold Canada. Well that night was planned out by Courtney to go into Mississauga to a bar called sugar daddy’s. Well we were going out for Courtney’s friend Joseph’s Birthday. Well so before we went to the bar I had to make my favourite contraption my “JP’s Famous Rum Punch”. Well a splash of OJ, Pineapple Juice and just a bit of Rum haha. One thing that I learned very fast about going out in T.O is that it takes people about 6 hours to get ready!!! Well maybe about 2 … and I’m not lying. So we
got to the club and it was a huge night club with not many people there. But that didn’t stop us, with a 3 dollar drink bar. I found out how much I loved this club. The club started to pack up around 23:00. We danced and had a great time…lol. The night ended around 3:30 am and I ended up finding out how much I love travelling.
The next day was my day to spend some time with my other cousin Kristin and her boyfriend. Along with Sayo and Courtney we went down town Toronto. We started off by taking the train from Mississauga to Toronto. It was a about a 30 min ride, once we arrived downtown we started to walk to the CN Tower. Th CN tower is the largest man made structure in the world. It really is so impressive standing below such a building. The CN Tower is around 1,800 feet tall and was built in the 1970’s. We proceeded into the building a took the elevator up to the top. We exited the elevator a went to the ledge and looked over…Wow!!! What a view from the top you can see all of
Flowers"oops did that sign say not to crush flowers"
Toronto and the surrounding. In the Tower it has a glass floor that looks down from the tower, so had to get a couple pictures of that. After many pictures of the Tower we headed down, this is a great experience and once in a life time.
The following day we all went to Canada’s Wonderland. It’s Canada’s amusement park. With wooden roller coasters and tones of rides. The day we decide to go to was so cold. From coming from the Turks +34 to a cool 12 degrees was a huge difference that day. But we still had loads of fun riding the Top Gun ride where the Flip you and Turn You just the being in a fighter plane. We also rode on a ride called Wild Beast, it’s was the first wooden roller coaster I’ve been on before. I loved that ride.
I had so much fun in Toronto with my cousins and their friends. Thanks Uncle Doug and Auntie Brenda. I really can’t wait to come visit them again.
