jim your photos are great. makes me really want to go to capital hill. I wondered if you took photos of all the Canada Day celebrations that you attended? I know you have always loved military stuff so it is obvious that it is a very special place for you.

gramma and grandpa came over for dinner tonight. She loved to read about your travels and watched you bungee jump. Gramma loved to look at a ll you photos. "loves ottawa and would love to see it again, especially all the parks" GRamma can hardly wait to have you over for dinner and a hot tulb and play pool with grandpa. When you get home you canl go over pictures and hear more stories of your travelling adventures. Love and hugs Gramma and Grandpa (many hugs)

these are the stair were the prime minister walks down and greets the press before each session in the house of commons

This is the house of commons, where the MPs are, you can see the speakers chair he is the referee
master at arms
there used to be a master at arms who carried a mace to protect the speaker against British loyalists as he walked to parliament, we still have him and his mace today.
