So our flight has been canceled, because of the weather. *We spent all today trying to find a new flight out to Taiwan and we've managed to find a better one then the re-scheduled Friday Night flight.
Too be honest, I'm sort of glad for the extra days because Sunday I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to get ready. It was a scramble trying to get to the airport ( although we had an inkling that our flight was going to be canceled).
So as I was saying, I am glad for these extra days because now I am all packed and ready to go. I've been able to say goodbye to my friends and family. Now I'm focused on getting to Taiwan, and enduring the
19 hour flight from Chicago to Taiwan.
I'm going to miss everyone terribly!
There are three questions looming in my mind:
1) Will I get travelers diarrhea?
2) When will I get homesick
3) can I make it a year in a strange and foreign country?
Only time will tell!
*When I refer to "we" that will mean Lisa and I, unless otherwise stated.
