Today we were on a mission to discover how does the northern border of US works. We took a bus from Buffalo to the town Niagara Falls and there we headed to the Rainbow bridge. After finding out that only with motorized vehicles can shop in duty free, we went on the other side as pedestrians to Canada and there was no tax free shop.

Against former experiences we could make pictures on the border and on top of that the officials were extremely friendly. Since the border is a tourist attraction we needed to pay 50 cents per person to return to US.

Our time in Canada (app. 3 hours) was very nice. We had a lovely walk next to the falls and got free hot chocolate to enjoy the mist from the falls, which turned into rain.
