To being our trip, we all met up at the school at 8 so we could get on the road as soon as possible. When we first got to Niagara Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world, the first thing we had on our list was go on the Maid of Mist. Unfortunatly since it was a crummy day out, and there was a bad storm the night before , the docks were flooded! Might have been a good thing since it was freezing outside. As we looked for somthing to do Niagara Falls-related, we waited at a Tim Hortons and warmed up. The teachers luckily found a movie of the falls upstairs where you move around. It showed us all around the falls and it sprayed water out at us making it seem like we were there. So we got to see the Falls up close and be warm at the same time which was nice:). Since it took so long to figure out what to do instead of the Maid of Mist, we didn't have enough time to go on our hike. The teachers thought the best thing to do was just let everyone do their own
thing and meet back up at 2:45.
When we got out of the movie place, the group that I stuck with thought we would go look at the Falls a bit more before we would go to the haunted houses and such. It was very cold and rainy, but the Falls were still amazing. There was a lot of mist coming from them. After, my friend Shannon and I had been in this really scary haunted house down there before and decided to take our group to go in it. Apparently it is the scariest haunted house down there.
After we survived Nightmares ( the haunted house) we got a quick bite to eat at Burger King, then we were on to the next thing. Right below the Burger King, there was a mirror maze. This was really cool if you're okay with mazes, but probably not a good one if you get claustrophobic. It took us awhile to find our way out of there!
By the time we got out, it was basically time to go home. We all met back up where we got dropped off and shared what we did with other people in
our class. Everyone seemed to have a pretty good day, and most people all went into Nightmares. Our bus was late by an hour, but we managed to keep ourselves occupied. On the bus ride home, everyone was just exshated from the big day and everyone just passed out on the bus.
Even though it wasn't like the day I was expecting, it turned out even better!
