Picked up at our B&B by a 14 passenger van about 9.00 am we made an hour and a half trip to a winery then stopped at the old historic town of Niagara On The Lake.
The van took an anti-clockwise route around the western end of Lake Ontario on a fairly busy highway to get to NOL.
After a half hour wander around Niagara On The Lake we drove on the the Falls.

Pat & I had some lunch - it was now 2.45 pm - then we took a short cable-car ride to a higher level with a better view and wandered back to our van pick-up point by 4.00pm
The two major falls are the very large Horseshoe Falls and the smaller but still impressive Rainbow Falls.
Peak hour traffic meant that the return journey took about 2

We had a very nice Italian meal in a restaurant just across the road from the B&B.
A fine start to our post LA travels.
