010The board walk along Halifax water front.
Good morning
Well it is a rainy morning in Halifax. Since 99 % of my activities include long walks outside I will have to revamp my plans. Poor Brett he seems to be working harder than he thought he would be. Yesterday he went from 7:30 to 5pm. We met up at the room at 5. By this time I had already had an hour nap. HEEHEE!!!
Unfortunatly we are alittle a head of the tourist season so most of the tourist spots we want to visit are closed by 5pm. We did manage to get to MEC yesterday. We both purchased new spring jackets. Now both of us will be warm enough. You can see Brett's new jacket in the picture with the town clock.
Yesterday I walked and shopped. I went the the famous Cora's for breakfast and then hit every boutique in the downtown region. My feet are actually sore today and I even wore my running shoes. I didn't even sit and have coffee once. I new that this rain was coming and wanted to get in lots yesterday. We did have super crazy wind though.
I was walking along the waterfront at noon

with all the female power suits in runners. I love that look.
Last night Brett and I hit up a few different pubs and enjoyed a few pints and of course some more mussels. I might be getting to the point where I start to sweat garlic buter. We searched for live music last night. We found one great female singer but the pub was sold out. Arg!!!
We ended up hitting the casino. Brett played poker for it felt like forever...only maybe an hour. I was standing behind him and watching and chatting with a near by player until I was removed by the poker room security. I guess I can't stand near the table. If they ever watched me play they would know I wasn't a security risk. So now I get to sit in the corner on a wicker chair watching the table which is now 30 ft away. To add to my good time the security guys feel like they have to make conversation with me. Do you care to know that the casino manager used to manage the casino in Saskatoon...No...neither did I. Anyhow I walked around drinking my fancy lemon water and making

Brett tells me he won enough to cover our supper and our pints. Hard to sa
