To Fredericton
Brad and Treena From Charlottetown PEI, to here in Fredericton has been our most consistent biking of the trip. We are consisitently biking 100km day after day, and are now giving ourselves a break. Today is the first day we have had off since we started cycling again from Stephenville.
From Charlottetown we rode 60km to the Confederation Bridge. Bikes are not allowed on the bridge, so we had to be shuttled across. There is a toll booth, cameras, traffic workers who think they are cops, its not one of those things where you can just go for it. It is also 12, or maybe 20 km long. We stopped for snacks after the shuttle. and biked another 50 km to where we camped. We had 2 more hugely rewarding days to follow. The first was a hard day, into the wind where we still did 90 km and felt great about it. The next day we put on about 110, with no wind, and felt amazing after. We have been exceeding our estimated lengths, and working hard, and are very grateful of our day off. We have been camping in cornfields, behind truckstops, and just about anywhere we
can find some flat land.
Last night, and tonite, we are staying in res, at UNB. Its so nice to have a bed inside with laundry, plugs to recharge everything, and space to put all of our stuff. Tomorow we are back on the bikes. Im not sure about Quebec City, but we should be in Montreal in about 8 days of riding.
We both have a lot more pictures on facebook, so check it out. \
We are having an amazing time, thanks for being interested.
