Well, I wanted to see the mountains again. I was able to combine labor day with a week off work to take a road trip up to Banff national park with my girlfriend, Elise. We primarily would do simple day trips to hike and see glaciers, lakes and mountains, and the scenery was phenomenal. This posting is a bit late, so it may take some time for me to remember some more of the details. Overall, it was a great trip, and the 27 hour drive (one way) is not for the faint of heart.
