P1050598The Entrance to Grand Beach... nice dunes eh
In the morning we did a few errands then got on the road with Brad and Stephanie to Grand Beach Provincial Park, which an hour from Winnipeg. It is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in North America!
When we got there we quickly set up our tents, ours took 2 minutes, and Brad’s took 15 lol. After we finished up we hit the beach! When you walk in on the sand path, you see 20 foot sand dunes which stretch the length of the beach. The sand is a beautiful golden white colour and has very little rocks. It was a windy day so we had some nice waves, which made it more fun and the water was still warm. It is a huge fresh water lake and looks almost like an ocean - minus the salty water and jellyfish. You could compare it a lot with Parlee Beach in Shediac (but fresh water).
At night we had another ghetto gourmet fire-cooked dinner. Steak, salad, and rice (cooked on an open fire - you try and figure it out lol ). It was delicious! Brad had never had smores before, so we had to show
him how its done. It was messy but awesome.
The next morning we had to say our goodbyes

. It was great to see you Brad and Steph, thanks for everything!!
