First stop today was the Vancouver Aquarium, which is the largest in North America. They are a non profit making organisation and are involved in marine mammal conservation. They have a sea otter that was found alone in the sea aged approx 2 weeks old. The people who found him waited hours to see if the mother returned for him but she didn't so he was reared by humans. Isn't he adorable? So that was what I liked about the aquarium but after seeing seals; sea lions and a whale swimming freely in the ocean I couldn't bear seeing them being confined in swimming pools. There were dolphin and beluga display shows scheduled but we left as I couldn't bear to watch 😞

We then did a tour of Stanley Park which is a completely natural park larger than Central Park. The walk around it is 5.5 miles so we got the bus! We took the hop on, hop off bus all around the city and whilst it is a lovely city we both agree we still rate San Francisco our favourite. Vancouver was recently voted the third best city to live in for quality of life; it is rated in the top five cities in the world for cleanliness but it is also in the top ten for most expensive city to live in. It is so expensive, feel like we have spent a fortune.

Tomorrow is Grouse Mountain so I get to see Coola and Grinder (the orphaned bears) and we are doing the zip lines, well we are supposed to, I still think I'm going to bottle it!

Photo uploader isn't working again, will try and post pics tomorrow.
